April 2002

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter to express my opinion about Roy Timm and his book entitled, Northwest History of Saucers, ET's, Abductions and More.

I first met Roy Timm when he and a companion visited the UFO Museum in Roswell, New Mexico. I was serving as Head Librarian at the museum at that time. Mr. Timm met with several people in the Museum. The two most important individuals were Glenn Dennis, mortician in Roswell in 1947, and Clifford Stone, who worked with Alien Beings while he was in the U.S. Military. In recent years Mr. Stone has written books and has made tapes about his experiences.

It was obvious that Mr. Timm wanted to gain first-hand information from some of the people who had been involved in the Roswell Incident of 1947. At the same time, Mr. Timm expressed a desire to assist the Museum in gathering first-hand information for their files and archives. He had brought pictures and information and pictures about cattle mutilations in the Northwestern part of the United States.

After his visit in the year of 2000, Mr. Timm sent additional pictures of cattle mutilations and possible UFO landing sites, along with tapes of interviews he had with the people who have experienced alleged abductions.

When Mr. Timm's book was published, he sent a review copy to the Library. I was extremely impressed by the contents of the book and ordered three copies to be kept in the Museum's Library. One of the main attractions of the book is that it contains actual first-hand accounts from people who have experienced UFOs, Aliens, or cattle mutilations. Many of these encounters happened years ago, but the people involved have never before shared them with anyone.

Mr. Timm also tells about the Alien that he saw when he was a child. Interestingly, the Alien that he saw appears to be the same Aliens that were see in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, in 1955.

As a Librarian, I have found that many of the current UFO authors are merely rewriting previously published experiences. Mr. Timm is exceptionally fortunate to have found so many people who were willing to give him their own personal accounts.

Of course, as a researcher, Mr. Timm did not stop looking for individuals who have had experiences with UFOs or extraterrestrials. I'm sure he will want to share these encounters in a second book.

Yours very truly,

Bobbie B. Davis, Former Librarian Roswell UFO Museum
